Central to many National Parks of Canada, Alpenrose is a great place to stay in the Rockies if you want a quiet mountain experience. Located on near transcanada highway in Golden. Our cozy private cabin is located in a quiet rural residential area, on 1 acre of treed land, with easy access from Highway 1 (snow tires recommended from November through March). We like to provide our guests with the comfort and privacy of home at an affordable price. The cabin sleeps 1 to six people and is perfect for couples and families. The cabin is self-contained, has a full kitchen (with stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, and cutlery), full bathroom, living room , mezzanine and bedroom with queen bed. All bedding and towels are provided. There is a barbecue on the private patio. We are located with easy access to six National Parks (Yoho, Banff, Glacier, Jasper, Kootenay, and Mt. Revelstoke). This is the perfect place to stay while exploring the outdoors. We are within a few minutes drive to the Blaeberry River, Thompson Falls, Northern Lights Wildlife Centre, and the Rocky Mountain Buffalo Ranch. 448 Althoff Rd. We live in a quiet neighbourhood with a fantastic view on the Rockies in town of Golden walking distance to groceries, pubs, restaurants and a 15 minute drive to Kickinghorsemountainresort. taxi We are very protective for the place, the guests and community for the covid 19 situation when you will do your reservation make sure you and your guests have (received) or will receive the vaccine before showing up for your stay.
